Successfully Wrapping Up at VIV Europe 2026: Eco-Friendly Poultry Packaging Takes Center Stage

05 Jun,2026

The three-day run at VIV Europe in Utrecht (June 2–4) has just come to a successful close. For China straw packaging, the exhibition proved to be an incredible window into where the poultry industry is heading. With European regulations tightening around single-use plastics and styrofoam, the conversations at our booth made one thing very clear: commercial egg producers are urgently looking for strong, automated-machine-ready alternatives.

Our signature straw pulp egg cartons were a massive talking point throughout the event. By using wheat and crop straw agricultural waste instead of standard wood pulp, this line offers a practical, circular-economy solution that fits right into modern sustainability targets. Farm owners and procurement managers spent a lot of time examining the fiber rigidity, checking whether the cartons could handle the mechanical stress of high-speed automated grading and packing lines.

But the interest didn't stop at straw pulp. Many premium egg brands came looking for ways to capture consumer attention on grocery shelves without sacrificing their eco-friendly credentials. That is where our colored recycled pulp egg cartons came into play. The custom pastel and earthy tones we showcased attracted a lot of visual interest from organic producers. Alongside these, our heavy-duty bamboo fiber egg trays and our newly designed hybrid egg cartons sparked some great technical discussions. These hybrid models combine different natural fibers to reinforce the exact pressure points that usually risk damage during long-distance container transit.

Ultimately, switching to sustainable packaging is never just about aesthetics—it has to perform flawlessly on the factory floor. We spent hours doing deep-dives with logistics managers and technical buyers, talking about everything from bulk container loading optimization to custom molding capabilities for specific egg sizes.

As the Utrecht exhibition concludes, our focus is entirely on following up with the numerous sample requests, specific pricing inquiries, and custom packaging designs initiated during the show.
